Jazz Festival Comes to Richmond

Maymont is the site for the City of Richmond’s Jazz Fest on August 14 and 15. More than 25 artists, including Chaka Khan, Chuck Mangione, and Pancho Sanchez, are scheduled to perform. Festival artists will perform on 2 stages, over 2 days – showcasing primarily jazz with various genres to liven up the mix performed by local, national and international bands and artists. (more…)

Moonlight Bike Ride In Richmond August 21

There are two options to participate in the Moonlight Ride through Richmond’s northside and west end beginning at Richmond’s Sportsbacker’s stadium: a Full Moon (17 miles) or Half Moon (8 miles). Howl at the full moon and celebrate the joy of cycling at the Anthem Moonlight Ride. (more…)
